#ESB NYC Shooting by Disgruntled Employee, @YahooNews
Thank you, @YahooNews for allowing me to share my views/ experience re: #ESB NYC Shooting, with your team this morning. 1) Depression & Mental Illness is at all time high in the USA – most people ignore or do not acknowledge it and access to mental health professionals is limited in this bad economy & unemployed/ underemployed 2) Employee stress is also at an all time high and Employers are pushing for high output from their workforce and spending less on Training/Development/Employee Health/Building a Healthy Corp Culture. 3) Employers need to be mindful of how they Recruit, Screen, Train, Develop, and Reprimand and Lay off/ Fire employees. Be mindful, considerate, vigilant, and sensitive in ALL aspects of the employee life cycle. Not just an HR issue. #strategicworkforce @mitchcardoza
